About
Hi, I’m Donnie Ray Crisp — a designer, developer, illustrator, photographer, and father of twins.
coloringpag.es is the result of everything I’ve loved doing for over two decades: drawing, building digital products, creating things that inspire, and helping others stay creative.
How it started
It all began with a pencil and a passion for drawing. I used to teach kids at our local community center — until work got too busy. When I had to step back, one little girl was heartbroken. A few months later, I got a surprising call: Staedtler, one of the world’s biggest art supply brands, asked if I’d give drawing lessons at their new store. That same little girl had told her mother — who happened to work at Staedtler — how much she missed my classes.
That encounter sparked a collaboration that grew into something bigger: I created drawings for their pencils, erasers, and packaging; gave lessons at their HQ and trade fairs; and eventually produced video tutorials for their YouTube channel. To film those, I bought my first DSLR — and from there, my love for photography was born.
Over the years, I’ve worn many creative hats: I’ve worked for major media companies, freelanced for small businesses, developed websites, designed brands, and taught myself everything from 3D modeling to SEO. I’ve participated in hackathons, mentored young creatives, and photographed everything from the tiniest mushrooms in a forest to far away galaxies in the night sky.
Why I created coloringpag.es
coloringpag.es brings everything full circle. It’s a place where I can combine illustration, design, web development, photography, and education into something meaningful. A platform that offers high-quality, printable coloring pages — not just for kids, but for parents, teachers, and anyone who enjoys slowing down with a pencil in hand.
Each image on the site is handcrafted or AI-assisted and then carefully refined. My goal is to provide a better experience than what’s currently out there — less clutter, more beauty, and tools that let you adjust and print exactly what you want.
I also design physical products like modular marker storage, which I 3D-print and ship myself (coming soon). It’s all part of the same mission: to make creative spaces feel inspiring and organized.
This project is deeply personal. It’s built from experience, curiosity, and the belief that creativity matters — whether you’re 6 or 60.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you find something here that makes your day a little more colorful.
